Randy Race has more than 25 years of work experience in the industry; designing, installing and servicing heating and cooling systems. He and his wife Sandra are long-time residents of Union County, and as a family man and a Trane Comfort Consultant, he will take a personal interest in offering the best solutions for you and your family.
Randy’s history of pursuing higher education in the rapidly-changing HVAC industry has resulted in several awards in the area of engineering, design and technical knowledge. His blend of formal training and field experience brings an unique asset to our company, which along with our highly skilled staff, allows McClintock Heating, Cooling and Electrical to provide the ultimate in comfort and service.

Mike McClintock has more than 30 years’ experience in the technical and service industry. He began his career by proudly serving in the US Army and then by attending Central Piedmont Community College where he obtained an Associate’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering. Mike’s work experience includes installation, service, project and personnel management. Mike has attended numerous HVAC training classes and seminars and is NATE certified.
Mike and his wife Debi are both Charlotte natives and have lived in Matthews for the last 27 years. They have three sons and enjoy being outdoors camping, hiking, going to the park or just working around the house. Having lived in the area for his entire life, Mike can give you driving directions to practically anywhere!

Danny Johnson has over 17 years of service in the heating and cooling industry and has multiple NATE certifications; including service, installation and system design. Danny’s knowledge and expertise in providing exceptional comfort for your family makes him an important part of our team.
Danny and his wife AnnaBeth along with their seven children are lifelong natives of Union County. He is a devoted family man and enjoys time spent with his family and serving in his church. Danny began working at McClintock in 2010 as a service technician and transitioned to a Comfort Pro where his service background gives him an exceptional prospective on home comfort.
Danny states “It’s a joy working for a company were solutions are provided for the customers comfort and attention to detail is at the forefront” and he takes great respect in the opportunity to provide your family with the best solution.
Shawn Owens has approximately 30 years of experience with heating and air conditioning. His career began with the automotive industry in the late 80's as a GM certified technician, keeping your automobile temperature comfortable. Shawn transitioned into the residential / commercial HVAC industry in the mid 90's as a self-employed contractor with experience in plumbing and remodeling as well. After relocating to the Charlotte area he worked for a local HVAC contractor for several years before starting at McClintock.
Shawn obtained his first NATE certification in October 2006 and continues to increase his knowledge in the field by attending various training sessions as equipment continues to evolve. One of Shawn's customers stated, "Shawn's knowledge and honesty give me a sense of comfort that I can trust." Shawn's golden rule is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Shawn and his family moved to the Charlotte area in 2009 from the Central New York / Adirondack region. They have four children and two grandchildren who enjoy life in the Charlotte area as well. In his free time, Shawn enjoys the outdoors, working in the yard and riding motorcycles with his wife and children.
